What we collect
- Your name, delivery address, floor and access notes, mobile number and email, when you order.
- Your order: what you bought, the extras and delivery you chose, and payment status. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- If you create an account: your email, name, a securely scrambled password (we can never see it), saved delivery details, whether you’ve agreed to marketing emails, and your launch credit.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
- Basic technical information our hosting provider records to keep the site secure (such as IP address and browser type).
Why we use it
- To take payment, deliver your order, install or remove appliances, and contact you about your delivery (to perform our contract with you).
- To keep accounts and VAT records (legal obligation).
- To handle returns, faults and complaints, and to keep the website secure (our legitimate interests).
- To ask you, once, for a review after delivery (legitimate interests). We don’t send marketing unless you’ve agreed to it.
- To run your account, save your details for quicker checkout and give and track your launch credit (to perform our contract with you). To email you deals, only if you ticked the box; untick it in your account or reply to stop any time (your consent).
Who we share it with
Only with services that help us run the shop: Stripe (payments), Netlify (website hosting), Supabase (order database and customer accounts), Google (email and our internal job sheets), WhatsApp (delivery messages) and PostHog (website analytics, hosted in the EU; see our cookies page). Our delivery team and engineers see what they need to complete your order. We don’t sell your information.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved for UK data protection, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for 6 years for tax and accounting purposes, then deleted. Delivery notes are kept for 12 months.
